Fire Company Objectives:

The objectives of this organization shall be the preservation and protection of life and property from fires which may occur and preserve and safeguard health and safety in the Hamlet of Clarence Center and vicinity, and to promote the intellectual, moral and social welfare of the members of this organization.

Welcome to the Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Company's website. We are an organization that is contracted by the Town of Clarence, which is a suburb of Buffalo, New York, to provide Fire, Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services to the citizens that reside within our district boundaries. In addition to the traditional fire/EMS apparatus we use to respond to calls within our district, The Clarence Center Volunteer Fire Company has one of the only water rescue hovercrafts in Western New York. This hovercraft can quickly respond to wherever it may be needed and is a benefit to the entire region. We can also respond to emergencies in remote locations of our district during the winter months through the use of our snowmobile, which tows a rescue trailer. During the warmer months the fire company can respond on the many bike trails in the district by employing our two EMS mountain bikes. However, equipment alone doesn't make for an effective fire company, our members maintain high levels of proficiency in many different skills through various training programs to help better benefit the community. We hope our website will be used as another tool to serve our community and we would like to thank all of you for your continuing support. Be safe.
